Nothing exciting to ever report, save for a small subchorionic hemorrhage in the VERY beginning this time. But even that went away. I'm hoping for a completely different outcome this time, though. That's what scares the crap out of me.

--I don't have pregnancy cravings. I'm a total weirdo.

--So far, both pregnancies, I've gained a total of 7 pounds up to 39 weeks. I'm already a bit overweight, so this overjoys me, mostly. I blame most of it on the fact that I usually just overeat, and when I'm pregnant, I just can't because my stomach shrinks and it doesn't fit. Foodie problem.

--In both of my first trimesters, I lost about 10 pounds. That helped with the overall weight gain only being 7 pounds total.

--I'm pretty positive I have Symphisis Pubic Dysfunction when I'm pregnant. No doctor will actually CALL it that, though, for some reason. This pregnancy, I decided to hit the chiropractor early, and it helped a LOT.

--I don't know if this is it for us, as far as number of kids. We're both of the strong opinion that we always wanted our kids to have a sibling. Both of us grew up with brothers and sisters and we both feel like it's an amazing thing to give your children. I wish we hadn't lost Luke...so we wouldn't have to feel like we have a sibling...and yet don't.

--I have a hard time getting overly bonded with baby in the womb. I'm not a super girly-girl, and I NEVER fantasized about being pregnant, so I sort of chalk it up to that.

--Jeff and I will celebrate 11 years together 2 days after Lena is born. We've been married almost 5 years...And I have no idea what took us so long to have kids. I sort of regret that now. I never imagined that I'd have to start at zero again after having my first child...And now I'll be 35+ and Jeff will be 40+ when and if we have another...

--We were terrible at agreeing on a boy's name for Luke. But in the end, we both agreed on it. For Lena, it was probably one of the easiest decisions we've had to make. She'll be named after my Oma, whose nickname was Lena, and Jeff's Mom, who's name was Helena. It was a simple conclusion to come to together.

--I'll have had one vaginal delivery via induction, and one c-section. I'll be able to make a pretty informed decision about which is better after this Thursday :) Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17635247963030386492noreply@blogger.com
