I wake up and my heart starts racing,
You're on my mind.
I force myself up to face the day,

I let the shower wash away the tears that fall,

A blank expression stares back at me as I get ready,

The car is too quiet as I drive to work,

I spend the day in my office trying to focus on work,

Daddy and I try to pass the hours and entertain ourselves,

Dinner time comes and goes,

More quiet time,

The day ends and sleep calls,
